General information about the International Automobile Scientific Forum
The first International Automobile Scientific Forum (IASF) took place in 2003. Over the recent years 8 scientific forums devoted to the following issues were held:
The average value of attendance of the scientific forums is more than 200 participants.
The forums' participating countries are as follows: Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Great Britain, Germany, The Netherlands, Israel, India, Spain, China, Russia, USA, France, Finland, Sweden, South Korea and others.
Among the participating organizations of the forums there are leading Russian and foreign automobile manufacturers and scientific & production associations: OJSC "AVTOVAZ", GAZ Group LLC, KAMAZ PTC, SOLLERS, BMW, VOLVO CARS, TOYOTA, AVL List GmbH, BOSCH, WABCO, Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Central Scientific Research Automobile and Automotive Engines Institute” (FSUE “NAMI”), Mechanical Engineering Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMASH RAN) , Joint Institute for High Temperatures of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Association of Russian Automakers (OAR), Association of Automotive Engineers (AAE) of Russia and others.
Among the participants of the forums there are leading technical universities of Russia: Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University (MADI), Moscow Polytechnic University, South Ural State University (National Research University), Irkutsk National Research Technical University, Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University and others.

Exchange of experience, discussion of solutions for relevant tasks in the field of development, creation, production and implementation of technologies of new types of transport systems, including autonomous (driverless) transport, control systems for transport flows (intelligent transport systems), integrated analysis of possible technical, technological and regulatory and legal solutions. Facilitating interaction between all parties (stakeholders) interested in widespread introduction of intelligent transport systems in everyday life.
